Comet 17P/Holmes This comet was almost practically unknown over a week before this picture was taken. It suddenly brightened and expanded for no apparent reason. Captured on 10/28/2007 on a Digital Rebel with a 10inch SCT. Composite of 16 images at ISO 400 for 30 seconds. No post processing |
