Here is the telescope I use for visual astronomy and astrophotography. It's a Meade 1600mm SCT Reflector with a 254cm(10") Primary Mirror. Piggybacked is a Stellavue 78mm Refractor which is used for both imaging and guiding. Picture taken at Cherry Springs State Park |

Lately I've been doing some driveway astro-photography. Here is my current setup now. With the complexities of setup and breakdown of the telescope, this makes it easier to capture images. Unfortunately I have some nasty streetlights and light pollution that make it difficult to take deep sky shots from my neighborhood. |
