Here is a picture taken 10/25/03 of our nearest star from Southhold, NY. This is sunspot complex 484 taken at Prime Focus with a Phillips ToUCam, and a white light solar filter. Some dust grains are evident on my video camera (small donuts). |

Here is the closest Star to the Earth. The Sun, and my first attempt at solar astrophotography. I used a B&W video camera with a white light solar filter. I grabbed 5 seconds of video and ran it through Registax for alignment and stacking with slight level adjusting in Photoshop. |
